For Army Cadet Support Committees

The Army Cadet League of Canada (Ontario) Policy documentation library (suite) is the collection of mandatory policy documents that contain rules for the effective and efficient operation of our Support Committees.

The Policy documentation library include policies, directives and standards that contain mandatory requirements. These documents will inform the responsible Support Committee member / volunteer, how to best undertake a specific activity, or task, that collectively supports the objectives and expected results.

All policy documents have been approved by the ACLC Ontario Branch Board of Directors.

Policy Formal direction that imposes specific accountabilities or responsibilities on Support Committees. Policies explain what Support Committee executives and their members are expected to achieve (i.e. policy objectives) Link below Mandatory
Directive Formal instruction that obliges Support Committees to take (or avoid) specific action. Directives explain how Support Committees must meet the policy objective. Link below Mandatory
Standard A set of operational or technical measures, procedures or practices. Standards provide more detailed information or instructions on how Support Committees are expected to conduct certain aspects of their duties. Link below Mandatory
Guideline A document providing guidance, advice or explanation to Support Committees. Voluntary
